06 The Sinner and Sin condition


  • 40_MAT_04_16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
  • 40_MAT_06_23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

  • 43_JOH_03_19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
  • 43_JOH_05_42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

  • 45_ROM_01_29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
  • 45_ROM_01_30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
  • 45_ROM_01_31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
  • 45_ROM_01_32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
  • 45_ROM_03_09 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
  • 45_ROM_03_10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
  • 45_ROM_03_11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
  • 45_ROM_03_12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
  • 45_ROM_03_13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
  • 45_ROM_03_14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
  • 45_ROM_03_15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
  • 45_ROM_03_16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
  • 45_ROM_03_17 And the way of peace have they not known:
  • 45_ROM_03_18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
  • 45_ROM_06_16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
  • 45_ROM_06_17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
  • 45_ROM_06_18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
  • 45_ROM_06_19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
  • 45_ROM_06_20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
  • 45_ROM_06_21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
  • 45_ROM_07_05 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
  • 45_ROM_07_14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
  • 45_ROM_07_15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
  • 45_ROM_07_16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
  • 45_ROM_07_17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
  • 45_ROM_07_18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
  • 45_ROM_07_19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
  • 45_ROM_07_20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
  • 45_ROM_07_21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
  • 45_ROM_07_22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
  • 45_ROM_07_23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
  • 45_ROM_07_24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
  • 45_ROM_07_25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
  • 45_ROM_08_05 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
  • 45_ROM_08_06 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
  • 45_ROM_08_07 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
  • 45_ROM_08_08 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
  • 45_ROM_08_09 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
  • 45_ROM_08_13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
  • 45_ROM_08_14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
  • 46_1CO_01_18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
  • 46_1CO_01_30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

  • 47_2CO_04_04 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

  • 49_EPH_02_01 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
  • 49_EPH_02_02 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
  • 49_EPH_02_03 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
  • 49_EPH_02_12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
  • 49_EPH_04_17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
  • 49_EPH_04_18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
  • 49_EPH_04_19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
  • 49_EPH_04_20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
  • 49_EPH_04_21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
  • 49_EPH_04_22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
  • 49_EPH_04_23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
  • 49_EPH_05_05 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
  • 49_EPH_05_06 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
  • 49_EPH_05_07 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
  • 49_EPH_05_08 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
  • 49_EPH_05_11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
  • 49_EPH_05_12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
  • 49_EPH_05_14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
  • 50_PHP_02_21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

  • 61_2PE_02_14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; ursed children:
  • 61_2PE_02_15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
  • 61_2PE_02_16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
  • 61_2PE_02_17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
  • 61_2PE_02_18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
  • 61_2PE_02_19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
  • 61_2PE_02_22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
  • 61_2PE_03_03 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
  • 61_2PE_03_04 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
  • 62_1JO_03_08 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  • 65_JDE_01_12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
  • 65_JDE_01_13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
  • 65_JDE_01_18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
  • 65_JDE_01_19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the spirit.
