adversaries But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice,
and
do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies,
and
an adversary unto thine {adversaries}.
adversaries Were it not that I feared the wrath of
the
enemy, lest their {adversaries} should behave themselves
strangely,
[and] lest they should say, Our hand [is] high, and the LORD hath
not done all this.
adversaries Rejoice, O ye nations, [with] his people:
for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render
vengeance to his {adversaries}, and will be merciful unto his
land,
[and] to his people.
adversaries And it came to pass, when Joshua was by
Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold,
there
stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand:
and
Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, [Art] thou for us
, or for our {adversaries}?
adversaries <1SA2 -10> The {adversaries} of the LORD shall be
broken
to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD
shall
judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his
king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
adversaries <2SA19 -22> And David said, What have I to do with
you,
ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be {adversaries} unto
me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for
do
not I know that I [am] this day king over Israel?
adversaries Now when the {adversaries} of Judah and
Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity builded the
temple
unto the LORD God of Israel;
adversaries And our {adversaries} said, They shall not
know, neither see, till we come in the midst among them, and slay
them, and cause the work to cease.
adversaries They also that render evil for good are
mine
{adversaries}; because I follow [the thing that] good [is].
adversaries Thou hast known my reproach, and my
shame,
and my dishonour: mine {adversaries} [are] all before thee.
adversaries Let them be confounded [and] consumed
that
are {adversaries} to my soul; let them be covered [with] reproach
and dishonour that seek my hurt.
adversaries I should soon have subdued their enemies,
and turned my hand against their {adversaries}.
adversaries Thou hast set up the right hand of his
{adversaries}; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
adversaries For my love they are my {adversaries}:
but I
[give myself unto] prayer.
adversaries Let] this [be] the reward of mine
{adversaries} from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against
my
soul.
adversaries Let mine {adversaries} be clothed with
shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as
with a mantle.
adversaries Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of
hosts,
the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine
{adversaries},
and avenge me of mine enemies:
adversaries Therefore the LORD shall set up the
{adversaries} of Rezin against him, and join his enemies
together;
adversaries The envy also of Ephraim shall depart,
and
the {adversaries} of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not
envy
Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
adversaries According to [their] deeds, accordingly
he
will repay, fury to his {adversaries}, recompense to his enemies;
to
the islands he will repay recompense.
adversaries The people of thy holiness have possessed
[it] but a little while: our {adversaries} have trodden down thy
sanctuary.
adversaries As [when] the melting fire burneth, the
fire
causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine
{adversaries}, [that] the nations may tremble at thy presence!
adversaries Therefore all they that devour thee
shall be
devoured; and all thine {adversaries}, every one of them, shall
go
into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and
all
that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
adversaries For this [is] the day of the Lord GOD of
hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his
{adversaries}: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be
satiate
and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a
sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.
adversaries All that found them have devoured them:
and
their {adversaries} said, We offend not, because they have sinned
against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the
hope
of their fathers.
adversaries Her {adversaries} are the chief, her
enemies
prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her
transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the
enemy.
adversaries Jerusalem remembered in the days of her
affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she
had
in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the
enemy,
and none did help her: the {adversaries} saw her, [and]
did mock at her sabbaths.
adversaries Zion spreadeth forth her hands, [and there
is] none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning
Jacob,
[that] his {adversaries} [should be] round about him: Jerusalem
is
as a menstruous woman among them.
adversaries The LORD hath done [that] which he had
devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the
days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he
hath
caused [thine] enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the
horn of thine {adversaries}.
a
dversaries Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine
{adversaries}, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.
adversaries God [is] jealous, and the LORD revengeth;
the
LORD revengeth, and [is] furious; the LORD will take vengeance on
his {adversaries}, and he reserveth [wrath] for his enemies.
adversaries And when he had said these things, all
his
{adversaries} were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all
the
glorious things that were done by him.
adversaries For I will give you a mouth and wisdom,
which all your {adversaries} shall not be able to gainsay nor
resist.
adversaries <1CO16 -9> For a great door and effectual is opened
unto
me, and there are] many {adversaries}.
adversaries And in nothing terrified by your
{adversaries}: which is to them an evident token of perdition,
but
to you of salvation, and that of God.
adversaries But a certain fearful looking for of
judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the
{adversaries}.
