beset [Now] as they were making their hearts merry,

behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, {beset} the

house round about, [and] beat at the door, and spake to the
master

of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that

came into thine house, that we may know him.

eset And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and

the house round about upon me by night, [and] thought to have
slain

me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

beset Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of

Bashan have {beset} me round.

beset Thou hast {beset} me behind and before, and
laid

thine hand upon me.

beset And they consider not in their hearts [that] I

remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have {beset}

them about; they are before my face.

beset Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about
with

so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and

the sin which doth so easily {beset} us], and let us run with

patience the race that is set before us,
