devil Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the

wilderness to be tempted of the {devil}.

devil Then the {devil} taketh him up into the holy
city,

and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

devil Again, the {devil} taketh him up into an
exceeding

high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and

the glory of them;

devil Then the {devil} leaveth him, and, behold,
angels

came and ministered unto him.

devil As they went out, behold, they brought to him a

dumb man possessed with a {devil}.

devil And when the {devil} was cast out, the dumb
spake:

and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in

Israel.

devil For John came neither eating nor drinking, and

they say, He hath a {devil}.

devil Then was brought unto him one possessed with a

{devil}, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the
blind

and dumb both spake and saw.

devil The enemy that sowed them is the {devil}; the

harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

devil And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the

same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O
Lord,

[thou] son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a
{devil}.

devil And Jesus rebuked the {devil}; and he departed
out

of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

devil Then shall he say also unto them on the left
hand,

Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for
the

{devil} and his angels:

devil And they come to Jesus, and see him that was

possessed with the {devil}, and had the legion, sitting, and

clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

devil And they that saw it] told them how it befell to

him that was possessed with the {devil}, and also] concerning the

swine.

devil And when he was come into the ship, he that had

been possessed with the {devil} prayed him that he might be with

him.

devil The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by
nation;

and she besought him that he would cast forth the {devil} out of
her

daughter.

devil And he said unto her, For this saying go thy
way;

the {devil} is gone out of thy daughter.

devil And when she was come to her house, she found
the

{devil} gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

devil Being forty days tempted of the {devil}. And in

those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he

afterward hungered.

devil And the {devil} said unto him, If thou be the
Son of

God, command this stone that it be made bread.

devil And the {devil}, taking him up into an high

mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a
moment

of time.

devil And the {devil} said unto him, All this power
will I

give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me;
and

to whomsoever I will I give it.

devil And when the {devil} had ended all the
temptation,

he departed from him for a season.

devil And in the synagogue there was a man, which had
a

spirit of an unclean {devil}, and cried out with a loud voice,

devil And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace,
and

come out of him. And when the {devil} had thrown him in the
midst,

he came out of him, and hurt him not.

devil For John the Baptist came neither eating bread
nor

drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a {devil}.

devil Those by the way side are they that hear; then

cometh the {devil}, and taketh away the word out of their hearts,

lest they should believe and be saved.

devil For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come
out

of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept
bound

with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was
driven

of the {devil} into the wilderness.)

devil And as he was yet a coming, the {devil} threw
him

down, and tare him]. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and

healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

devil And he was casting out a {devil}, and it was
dumb.

And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake;

and the people wondered.

devil And he was casting out a devil, and it was
dumb.

And it came to pass, when the {devil} was gone out, the dumb
spake;

and the people wondered.

devil Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you
twelve,

and one of you is a {devil}?

devil The people answered and said, Thou hast a
{devil}:

who goeth about to kill thee?

devil Ye are of your] father the {devil}, and the
lusts

of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning,
and

abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he

speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a l

iar, and the father of it.

devil Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say
we

not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a {devil}?

devil Jesus answered, I have not a {devil}; but I
honour

my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

devil Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that
thou

hast a {devil}. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou
sayest,

If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.

devil And many of them said, He hath a {devil}, and
is

mad; why hear ye him?

devil Others said, These are not the words of him
that

hath a {devil}. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

devil Others said, These are not the words of him
that

hath a devil. Can a {devil} open the eyes of the blind?

devil And supper being ended, the {devil} having now
put

into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son], to betray him;

devil How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the
Holy

Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all

that were oppressed of the {devil}; for God was with him.

devil And said, O full of all subtlety and all
mischief,

thou] child of the {devil}, thou] enemy of all righteousness,
wilt

thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

devil Neither give place to the {devil}.

devil Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be
able

to stand against the wiles of the {devil}.

devil <1TI3 -6> Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he

fall into the condemnation of the {devil}.

devil <1TI3 -7> Moreover he must have a good report of them which

are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the

{devil}.

devil <2TI2 -26> And that] they may recover themselves out of the

snare of the {devil}, who are taken captive by him at his will.

devil Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of

flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;

that through death he might destroy him that had the power of
death,

that is, the {devil};

devil Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the

{devil}, and he will flee from you.

devil <1PE5 -8> Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the

{devil}, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may

devour:

devil <1JO3 -8> He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the

{devil} sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of
God

was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

devil <1JO3 -8> He that committeth sin is of the {devil}; for the

devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God

was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

devil <1JO3 -8> He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the

devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God

was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the {devil}.

devil <1JO3 -10> In this the children of God are manifest, and
the

children of the {devil}: whosoever doeth not righteousness is
not of

God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

devil Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with
the

{devil} he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring
against

him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

devil Fear none of those things which thou shalt
suffer:

behold, the {devil} shall cast some] of you into prison, that ye
may

be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou
faithful

unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

devil And the great dragon was cast out, that old

serpent, called the {Devil}, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole

world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out

with him.

devil Therefore rejoice, ye] heavens, and ye that
dwell

in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for
the

{devil} is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he

knoweth that he hath but a short time.

devil And he laid hold on the dragon, that old
serpent,

which is the {Devil}, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

devil And the {devil} that deceived them was cast
into

the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false

prophet are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and

ever.
