nun And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a
man

speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but
his

servant Joshua, the son of {Nun}, a young man, departed not out
of

the tabernacle.

nun And Joshua the son of {Nun}, the servant of
Moses,

[one] of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid

them.

nun Of the tribe of Ephraim, Oshea the son of {Nun}.

nun These [are] the names of the men which Moses
sent to

spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of {Nun}
Jehoshua.

nun And Joshua the son of {Nun}, and Caleb the son of

Jephunneh, [which were] of them that searched the land, rent
their

clothes:

nun Doubtless ye shall not come into the land,

[concerning] which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb
the

son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of {Nun}.

nun But Joshua the son of {Nun}, and Caleb the son of

Jephunneh, [which were] of the men that went to search the land,

lived [still].

nun For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely
die

in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save
Caleb

the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of {Nun}.

nun And the LORD said unto Moses, Take thee Joshua
the

son of {Nun}, a man in whom [is] the spirit, and lay thine hand
upon

him;

nun Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and

Joshua the son of {Nun}: for they have wholly followed the LORD.

nun So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the

priest, and Joshua the son of {Nun}, and the chief fathers of the

tribes of the children of Israel:

nun These [are] the names of the men which shall
divide

the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of
{Nun}.

nun But] Joshua the son of {Nun}, which standeth
before

thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause

Israel to inherit it.

nun And he gave Joshua the son of {Nun} a charge, and

said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the

children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I
will

be with thee.

nun And Moses came and spake all the words of this
song

in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of {Nun}.

nun And Joshua the son of {Nun} was full of the
spirit of

wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children
of

Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.

nun Now after the death of Moses the servant of the
LORD

it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of
{Nun},

Moses' minister, saying,

nun And Joshua the son of {Nun} sent out of Shittim two

men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And

they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and
lodged

there.

nun So the two men returned, and descended from the

mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of {Nun},
and

told him all [things] that befell them:

nun And Joshua the son of {Nun} called the priests, and

said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven

priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the

LORD.

nun And these [are the countries] which the children
of

Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest,

and Joshua the son of {Nun}, and the heads of the fathers of the

tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inherit

ance to them.

nun And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and

before Joshua the son of {Nun}, and before the princes, saying,
The

LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our
brethren.

Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he g

ave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.

nun When they had made an end of dividing the land
for

inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an

inheritance to Joshua the son of {Nun} among them:

nun These [are] the inheritances, which Eleazar the

priest, and Joshua the son of {Nun}, and the heads of the
fathers of

the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance
by

lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabe

rnacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the

country.

nun Then came near the heads of the fathers of the

Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of
{Nun},

and unto the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children
of

Israel;

nun And it came to pass after these things, that
Joshua

the son of {Nun}, the servant of the LORD, died, [being] an
hundred

and ten years old.

nun And Joshua, the son of {Nun}, the servant of the
LORD,

died, [being] an hundred and ten years old.

nun <1KI16 -34> In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho:
he

laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up
the

gates thereof in his youngest [son] Segub, according to the word
of

the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of {Nun

}.

nun And all the congregation of them that were come
again

out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for

since the days of Jeshua the son of {Nun} unto that day had not
the

children of Israel done so. And there was very great g

ladness.

nun {NUN}. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a

light unto my path.
