o And Abraham said unto God, {O} that Ishmael might
live before thee!

o And he said, {O} LORD God of my master Abraham, I
pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto
my master Abraham.

o And I came this day unto the well, and said, {O}
LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way
which I go:

o And when Esau heard the words of his father, he
cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his
father, Bless me, [even] me also, {O} my father.

o And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one
blessing, my father? bless me, [even] me also, {O} my father.
And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

o And Jacob said, {O} God of my father Abraham, and
God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return
unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with
thee:

o And said, {O} sir, we came indeed down at the
first time to buy food:

o {O} my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto
their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their
anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a
wall.

o I have waited for thy salvation, {O} LORD.

o And Moses said unto the LORD, {O} my Lord, I [am]
not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken
unto thy servant: but I [am] slow of speech, and of a slow
tongue.

o And he said, {O} my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the
hand [of him whom] thou wilt send.

o Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power:
thy right hand, {O} LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

o Thy right hand, {O} LORD, is become glorious in
power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

o Who [is] like unto thee, {O} LORD, among the gods?
who [is] like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful [in] praises,
doing wonders?

o Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the
greatness of thine arm they shall be [as] still as a stone; till
thy people pass over, {O} LORD, till the people pass over,
[which] thou hast purchased.

o Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the
mountain of thine inheritance, [in] the place, O LORD, [which]
thou hast made for thee to dwell in, [in] the Sanctuary, {O}
Lord, [which] thy hands have established.

o Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the
mountain of thine inheritance, [in] the place, {O} LORD, [which]
thou hast made for thee to dwell in, [in] the Sanctuary, O Lord,
[which] thy hands have established.

o And he received [them] at their hand, and fashioned
it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and
they said, These [be] thy gods, {O} Israel, which brought thee
up out of the land of Egypt.

o They have turned aside quickly out of the way which
I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have
worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These
[be] thy gods, {O} Israel, which have brought thee up out of the
l

and of Egypt.

o And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight,
{O} Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it [is] a
stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and
take us for thine inheritance.

o And when it rested, he said, Return, {O} LORD,
unto the many thousands of Israel.

o And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her
now, {O} God, I beseech thee.

o And they fell upon their faces, and said, {O} God,
the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt
thou be wroth with all the congregation?

o Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, {O} well;
sing ye unto it:

o Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, {O} people of
Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters,
into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.

o How goodly are thy tents, {O} Jacob, [and] thy
tabernacles, O Israel!

o How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, [and] thy
tabernacles, {O} Israel!

o {O} Lord GOD, thou hast begun to show thy servant
thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God [is there] in
heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and
according to thy might?

o Now therefore hearken, {O} Israel, unto the statutes
and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do [them],
that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD
God of your fathers giveth you.

o And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them,
Hear, {O} Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in
your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do
them.

o {O} that there were such an heart in them, that
they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it
might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

o Hear therefore, {O} Israel, and observe to do [it];
that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily,
as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land
that floweth with milk and honey.

o Hear, {O} Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:

o Hear, {O} Israel: Thou [art] to pass over Jordan
this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than
thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,

o I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, {O}
Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which
thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast
brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

o And shall say unto them, Hear, {O} Israel, ye
approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your
hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye
terrified because of them;

o Be merciful, {O} LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom
thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people
of Israel's charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them.

o And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of
the land, which thou, {O} LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt
set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy
God:

o And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto
all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, {O} Israel; this day
thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.

o Give ear, {O} ye heavens, and I will speak; and
hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

o Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear,
{O} earth, the words of my mouth.

o Do ye thus requite the LORD, {O} foolish people and
unwise? [is] not he thy father [that] hath bought thee? hath he
not made thee, and established thee?

o {O} that they were wise, [that] they understood
this, [that] they would consider their latter end!

o Rejoice, {O} ye nations, [with] his people: for he
will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance
to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, [and] to
his people.

o And of Naphtali he said, {O} Naphtali, satisfied
with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess
thou the west and the south.

o Happy [art] thou, O Israel: who [is] like unto
thee, {O} people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and
who [is] the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be
found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high place

s.

o Happy [art] thou, {O} Israel: who [is] like unto
thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and
who [is] the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be
found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high place

s.

o And Joshua said, Alas, {O} Lord GOD, wherefore hast
thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into
the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had
been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!

o {O} Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth
their backs before their enemies!

o Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify
yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, [There is] an accursed thing in the midst of thee, {O}
Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take
away the ac

cursed thing from among you.

o But he himself turned again from the quarries that
[were] by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee,
{O} king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went
out from him.

o Hear, {O} ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I,
[even] I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing [praise] to the
LORD God of Israel.

o Hear, O ye kings; give ear, {O} ye princes; I,
[even] I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing [praise] to the
LORD God of Israel.

o The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient
river, the river Kishon. {O} my soul, thou hast trodden down
strength.

o So let all thine enemies perish, {O} LORD: but
[let] them that love him [be] as the sun when he goeth forth in
his might. And the land had rest forty years.

o And when Gideon perceived that he [was] an angel of
the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, {O} Lord GOD! for because I have
seen an angel of the LORD face to face.

o Then Manoah entreated the LORD, and said, {O} my
Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto
us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be
born.

o And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, {O}
Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray
thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of
the Philistines for my two eyes.

o And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord
GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee,
only this once, {O} God, that I may be at once avenged of the
Philistines for my two eyes.

o And said, {O} LORD God of Israel, why is this come
to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking
in Israel?

o <1SA1 -11> And she vowed a vow, and said, {O} LORD of hosts,
if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid,
and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give
unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the
LORD

all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his
head.

o <1SA4 -9> Be strong, and quit yourselves like men, {O} ye
Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they
have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.

o <1SA17 -55> And when Saul saw David go forth against the
Philistine, he said unto Abner, the captain of the host, Abner,
whose son [is] this youth? And Abner said, [As] thy soul liveth,
{O} king, I cannot tell.

o <1SA20 -12> And Jonathan said unto David, {O} LORD God of
Israel, when I have sounded my father about to morrow any time,
[or] the third [day], and, behold, [if there be] good toward
David, and I then send not unto thee, and show it thee;

o <1SA23 -10> Then said David, {O} LORD God of Israel, thy
servant hath certainly heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah,
to destroy the city for my sake.

o <1SA23 -11> Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his
hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? {O} LORD
God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And the LORD
said, He will come down.

o <1SA23 -20> Now therefore, {O} king, come down according to
all the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part [shall be]
to deliver him into the king's hand.

o <1SA26 -17> And Saul knew David's voice, and said, [Is] this
thy voice, my son David? And David said, [It is] my voice, my
lord, {O} king.

o <2SA1 -25> How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the
battle! {O} Jonathan, [thou wast] slain in thine high places.

o <2SA7 -18> Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD,
and he said, Who [am] I, {O} Lord GOD? and what [is] my house,
that thou hast brought me hitherto?

o <2SA7 -19> And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord
GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a
great while to come. And [is] this the manner of man, {O} Lord
GOD?

o <2SA7 -19> And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, {O}
Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a
great while to come. And [is] this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?

o <2SA7 -22> Wherefore thou art great, {O} LORD God: for [there
is] none like thee, neither [is there any] God beside thee,
according to all that we have heard with our ears.

o <2SA7 -25> And now, {O} LORD God, the word that thou hast
spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house,
establish [it] for ever, and do as thou hast said.

o <2SA7 -27> For thou, {O} LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast
revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house:
therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this
prayer unto thee.

o <2SA7 -28> And now, {O} Lord GOD, thou [art] that God, and thy
words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy
servant:

o <2SA7 -29> Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house
of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for
thou, {O} Lord GOD, hast spoken [it]: and with thy blessing let
the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.

o <2SA14 -4> And when the woman of Tekoah spake to the king, she
fell on her face to the ground, and did obeisance, and said,
Help, {O} king.

o <2SA14 -9> And the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord,
{O} king, the iniquity [be] on me, and on my father's house:
and the king and his throne [be] guiltless.

o <2SA14 -22> And Joab fell to the ground on his face, and bowed
himself, and thanked the king: and Joab said, To day thy servant
knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, {O} king,
in that the king hath fulfilled the request of his servant.

o <2SA15 -31> And [one] told David, saying, Ahithophel [is]
among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, {O} LORD, I
pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

o <2SA15 -34> But if thou return to the city, and say unto
Absalom, I will be thy servant, {O} king; [as] I [have been] thy
father's servant hitherto, so [will] I now also [be] thy servant:
then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.

o <2SA16 -4> Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine [are] all
that [pertained] unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I humbly
beseech thee [that] I may find grace in thy sight, my lord, {O}
king.

o <2SA18 -33> And the king was much moved, and went up to the
chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said, O
my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died for
thee, {O} Absalom, my son, my son!

o <2SA18 -33> And the king was much moved, and went up to the
chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said,
{O} my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died
for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son!

o <2SA19 -4> But the king covered his face, and the king cried
with a loud voice, {O} my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!

o <2SA19 -4> But the king covered his face, and the king cried
with a loud voice, O my son Absalom, {O} Absalom, my son, my son!

o <2SA19 -26> And he answered, My lord, {O} king, my servant
deceived me: for thy servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that
I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant [is]
lame.

o <2SA20 -1> And there happened to be there a man of Belial,
whose name [was] Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he
blew a trumpet, and said, We have no part in David, neither have
we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, {O}
Is

rael.

o <2SA22 -29> For thou [art] my lamp, {O} LORD: and the LORD
will lighten my darkness.

o <2SA22 -50> Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, {O} LORD,
among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

o <2SA23 -17> And he said, Be it far from me, {O} LORD, that I
should do this: [is not this] the blood of the men that went in
jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These
things did these three mighty men.

o <2SA24 -10> And David's heart smote him after that he had
numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned
greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, {O} LORD,
take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very
foolis

hly.

o <1KI1 -13> Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto
him, Didst not thou, my lord, {O} king, swear unto thine
handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me,
and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?

o <1KI1 -20> And thou, my lord, {O} king, the eyes of all Israel
[are] upon thee, that thou shouldest tell them who shall sit on
the throne of my lord the king after him.

o <1KI1 -24> And Nathan said, My lord, {O} king, hast thou said,
Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne?

o <1KI3 -7> And now, {O} LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant
king instead of David my father: and I [am but] a little child:
I know not [how] to go out or come in.

o <1KI3 -17> And the one woman said, {O} my lord, I and this
woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a child with
her in the house.

o <1KI3 -26> Then spake the woman whose the living child [was]
unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said,
{O} my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it.
But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, [but] di

vide [it].

o <1KI8 -26> And now, {O} God of Israel, let thy word, I pray
thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my
father.

o <1KI8 -28> Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy
servant, and to his supplication, {O} LORD my God, to hearken
unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before
thee to day:

o <1KI8 -53> For thou didst separate them from among all the
people of the earth, [to be] thine inheritance, as thou spakest
by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our
fathers out of Egypt, {O} Lord GOD.

o <1KI12 -16> So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not
unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion
have we in David? neither [have we] inheritance in the son of
Jesse: to your tents, {O} Israel: now see to thine own house,
Davi

d. So Israel departed unto their tents.

o <1KI12 -28> Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two
calves [of] gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to
go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, {O} Israel, which brought
thee up out of the land of Egypt.

o <1KI13 -2> And he cried against the altar in the word of the
LORD, and said, {O} altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a
child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and
upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that b

urn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.

o <1KI17 -18> And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with
thee, {O} thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin
to remembrance, and to slay my son?

o <1KI17 -20> And he cried unto the LORD, and said, {O} LORD my
God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I
sojourn, by slaying her son?

o <1KI17 -21> And he stretched himself upon the child three
times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, {O} LORD my God, I
pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.

o <1KI18 -26> And they took the bullock which was given them,
and they dressed [it], and called on the name of Baal from
morning even until noon, saying, {O} Baal, hear us. But [there
was] no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the
altar wh

ich was made.

o <1KI18 -37> Hear me, {O} LORD, hear me, that this people may
know that thou [art] the LORD God, and [that] thou hast turned
their heart back again.

o <1KI19 -4> But he himself went a day's journey into the
wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he
requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough;
now, {O} LORD, take away my life; for I [am] not better than my
fathe

rs.

o <1KI20 -4> And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord,
{O} king, according to thy saying, I [am] thine, and all that I
have.

o <1KI21 -20> And Ahab said to Elijah, hast thou found me, {O}
mine enemy? And he answered, I have found [thee]; because thou
hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.

o <1KI22 -28> And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace,
the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, {O} people,
every one of you.

o <2KI1 -11> Again also he sent unto him another captain of
fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, {O} man
of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.

o <2KI1 -13> And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with
his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and
fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto
him, {O} man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life o

f these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.

o <2KI4 -40> So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came
to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out,
and said, {O} [thou] man of God, [there is] death in the pot.
And they could not eat [thereof].

o <2KI6 -12> And one of his servants said, None, my lord, {O}
king: but Elisha, the prophet that [is] in Israel, telleth the
king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

o <2KI6 -26> And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the
wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, {O}
king.

o <2KI8 -5> And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how
he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman,
whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her
house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, {O} king, this
[is

] the woman, and this [is] her son, whom Elisha restored to life.

o <2KI9 -5> And when he came, behold, the captains of the host
[were] sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, {O}
captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To
thee, O captain.

o <2KI9 -5> And when he came, behold, the captains of the host
[were] sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain.
And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, {O}
captain.

o <2KI9 -23> And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and said to
Ahaziah, [There is] treachery, {O} Ahaziah.

o <2KI13 -14> Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof
he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and
wept over his face, and said, {O} my father, my father, the
chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.

o <2KI19 -15> And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, {O}
LORD God of Israel, which dwellest [between] the cherubims, thou
art the God, [even] thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth;
thou hast made heaven and earth.

o <2KI19 -19> Now therefore, {O} LORD our God, I beseech thee,
save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth
may know that thou [art] the LORD God, [even] thou only.

o <2KI20 -3> I beseech thee, {O} LORD, remember now how I have
walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have
done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

o <1CH16 -13> {O} ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of
Jacob, his chosen ones.

o <1CH16 -34> {O} give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good;
for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

o <1CH16 -35> And say ye, Save us, {O} God of our salvation, and
gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may
give thanks to thy holy name, [and] glory in thy praise.

o <1CH17 -16> And David the king came and sat before the LORD,
and said, Who [am] I, {O} LORD God, and what [is] mine house,
that thou hast brought me hitherto?

o <1CH17 -17> And [yet] this was a small thing in thine eyes,
{O} God; for thou hast [also] spoken of thy servant's house for
a great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the
estate of a man of high degree, O LORD God.

o <1CH17 -17> And [yet] this was a small thing in thine eyes, O
God; for thou hast [also] spoken of thy servant's house for a
great while to come, and hast regarded me according to the
estate of a man of high degree, {O} LORD God.

o <1CH17 -19> {O} LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to
thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making
known all [these] great things.

o <1CH17 -20> {O} LORD, [there is] none like thee, neither [is
there any] God beside thee, according to all that we have heard
with our ears.

o <1CH17 -25> For thou, {O} my God, hast told thy servant that
thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found
[in his heart] to pray before thee.

o <1CH17 -27> Now therefore let it please thee to bless the
house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for
thou blessest, {O} LORD, and [it shall be] blessed for ever.

o <1CH21 -17> And David said unto God, [Is it] not I [that]
commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have
sinned and done evil indeed; but [as for] these sheep, what have
they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, {O} LORD my God, be on
me, and

on my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should
be plagued.

o <1CH29 -11> Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power,
and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that
is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the
kingdom, {O} LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

o <1CH29 -11> Thine, {O} LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power,
and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that
is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the
kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

o <1CH29 -16> {O} LORD our God, all this store that we have
prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name [cometh] of
thine hand, and [is] all thine own.

o <1CH29 -18> {O} LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our
fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts
of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:

o <2CH1 -9> Now, {O} LORD God, let thy promise unto David my
father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people
like the dust of the earth in multitude.

o <2CH6 -14> And said, {O} LORD God of Israel, [there is] no God
like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest
covenant, and [showest] mercy unto thy servants, that walk
before thee with all their hearts:

o <2CH6 -16> Now therefore, {O} LORD God of Israel, keep with
thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him,
saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon
the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to
their

way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.

o <2CH6 -17> Now then, {O} LORD God of Israel, let thy word be

o <2CH6 -19> Have respect therefore to the prayer of thy servant,
and to his supplication, {O} LORD my God, to hearken unto the
cry and the prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee:

o <2CH6 -41> Now therefore arise, {O} LORD God, into thy resting
place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O
LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice
in goodness.

o <2CH6 -41> Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting
place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, {O}
LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice
in goodness.

o <2CH6 -42> {O} LORD God, turn not away the face of thine
anointed: remember the mercies of David thy servant.

o <2CH10 -16> And when all Israel [saw] that the king would not
hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What
portion have we in David? and [we have] none inheritance in the
son of Jesse: every man to your tents, {O} Israel: [and] now, Dav

id, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.

o <2CH13 -12> And, behold, God himself [is] with us for [our]
captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm
against you. {O} children of Israel, fight ye not against the
LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

o <2CH14 -11> And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said,
LORD, [it is] nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or
with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we
rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. {O}
LORD,

thou [art] our God; let not man prevail against thee.

o <2CH14 -11> And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said,
LORD, [it is] nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or

rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O
LORD,

thou [art] our God; let not man prevail against thee.

o <2CH20 -6> And said, {O} LORD God of our fathers, [art] not
thou God in heaven? and rulest [not] thou over all the kingdoms
of the heathen? and in thine hand [is there not] power and might,
so that none is able to withstand thee?

o <2CH20 -12> {O} our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have
no might against this great company that cometh against us;
neither know we what to do: but our eyes [are] upon thee.

o <2CH20 -17> Ye shall not [need] to fight in this [battle]: set
yourselves, stand ye [still], and see the salvation of the LORD
with you, {O} Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to
morrow go out against them: for the LORD [will be] with you.

o <2CH20 -20> And they rose early in the morning, and went forth

ye be establishe

d; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

o <2CH25 -7> But there came a man of God to him, saying, {O}
king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD [is]
not with Israel, [to wit, with] all the children of Ephraim.

o And said, {O} my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift
up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased
over [our] head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.

o And now, {O} our God, what shall we say after this?
for we have forsaken thy commandments,

o {O} LORD God of Israel, thou [art] righteous: for
we remain yet escaped, as [it is] this day: behold, we [are]
before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee
because of this.

o And said, I beseech thee, {O} LORD God of heaven,
the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for
them that love him and observe his commandments:

o {O} Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be
attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy
servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee,
thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this ma

o Hear, {O} our God; for we are despised: and turn
their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in

o Tell me, {O} thou whom my soul loveth, where thou
feedest, where thou makest [thy flock] to rest at noon: for why
should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy
companions?

o If thou know not, {O} thou fairest among women, go
thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids
beside the shepherds' tents.

o I have compared thee, {O} my love, to a company of
horses in Pharaoh's chariots.

o I charge you, {O} ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the
roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor
awake [my] love, till he please.

o {O} my dove, [that art] in the clefts of the rock,
in the secret [places] of the stairs, let me see thy countenance,
let me hear thy voice; for sweet [is] thy voice, and thy
countenance [is] comely.

o I charge you, {O} ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the
roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor
awake [my] love, till he please.

o Go forth, {O} ye daughters of Zion, and behold king
Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the
day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his
heart.

o Thy lips, {O} [my] spouse, drop [as] the honeycomb:
honey and milk [are] under thy tongue; and the smell of thy
garments [is] like the smell of Lebanon.

o Awake, {O} north wind; and come, thou south; blow
upon my garden, [that] the spices thereof may flow out. Let my
beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

o I am come into my garden, my sister, [my] spouse: I
have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb
with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, {O}
friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.

o I am come into my garden, my sister, [my] spouse: I
have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb
with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends;
drink, yea, drink abundantly, {O} beloved.

o I charge you, {O} daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find
my beloved, that ye tell him, that I [am] sick of love.

o What [is] thy beloved more than [another] beloved,
{O} thou fairest among women? what [is] thy beloved more than
[another] beloved, that thou dost so charge us?

o His mouth [is] most sweet: yea, he [is] altogether
lovely. This [is] my beloved, and this [is] my friend, {O}
daughters of Jerusalem.

o Whither is thy beloved gone, {O} thou fairest among
women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him
with thee.

o Thou [art] beautiful, {O} my love, as Tirzah, comely
as Jerusalem, terrible as [an army] with banners.

o Return, return, {O} Shulamite; return, return, that
we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it
were the company of two armies.

o How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, {O} prince's
daughter! the joints of thy thighs [are] like jewels, the work
of the hands of a cunning workman.

o How fair and how pleasant art thou, {O} love, for
delights!

o The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates [are]
all manner of pleasant [fruits], new and old, [which] I have
laid up for thee, {O} my beloved.

o {O} that thou [wert] as my brother, that sucked the
breasts of my mother! [when] I should find thee without, I would
kiss thee; yea, I should not be despised.

o I charge you, {O} daughters of Jerusalem, that ye
stir not up, nor awake [my] love, until he please.

o My vineyard, which [is] mine, [is] before me: thou,
{O} Solomon, [must have] a thousand, and those that keep the
fruit thereof two hundred.

o Hear, {O} heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the
LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and
they have rebelled against me.

o Hear, O heavens, and give ear, {O} earth: for the
LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and
they have rebelled against me.

o {O} house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the
light of the LORD.

o As for] my people, children [are] their oppressors,
and women rule over them. {O} my people, they which lead thee
cause [thee] to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

o And now, {O} inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of
Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.

o And he said, Hear ye now, {O} house of David; [Is
it] a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God
also?

o And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow
and go over, he shall reach [even] to the neck; and the
stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land,
{O} Immanuel.

o Associate yourselves, {O} ye people, and ye shall be
broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird
yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves,
and ye shall be broken in pieces.

o {O} Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff
in their hand is mine indignation.

o Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, {O} my
people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he
shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against
thee, after the manner of Egypt.

o Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it
to be heard unto Laish, {O} poor Anathoth.

o Lift up thy voice, {O} daughter of Gallim: cause
it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.

o And in that day thou shalt say, {O} LORD, I will
praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is
turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

o How art thou fallen from heaven, {O} Lucifer, son
of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which
didst weaken the nations!

o Howl, O gate; cry, {O} city; thou, whole Palestina,
[art] dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke,
and none [shall be] alone in his appointed times.

o Howl, {O} gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina,
[art] dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke,
and none [shall be] alone in his appointed times.

o Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer
the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, {O} Heshbon,
and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy
harvest is fallen.

o A grievous vision is declared unto me; the
treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler
spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, {O} Media; all the sighing
thereof have I made to cease.

o A grievous vision is declared unto me; the
treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler
spoileth. Go up, {O} Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing
thereof have I made to cease.

o {O} my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that
which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have
I declared unto you.

o The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia
shall ye lodge, {O} ye travelling companies of Dedanim.

o Be thou ashamed, {O} Zidon: for the sea hath spoken,
[even] the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor
bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, [nor]
bring up virgins.

o Pass through thy land as a river, {O} daughter of
Tarshish: [there is] no more strength.

o And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, {O} thou
oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim;
there also shalt thou have no rest.

o Fear, and the pit, and the snare, [are] upon thee,
{O} inhabitant of the earth.

o {O} LORD, thou [art] my God; I will exalt thee, I
will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful [things; thy]
counsels of old [are] faithfulness [and] truth.

o Yea, in the way of thy judgments, {O} LORD, have we
waited for thee; the desire of [our] soul [is] to thy name, and
to the remembrance of thee.

o {O} LORD our God, [other] lords beside thee have
had dominion over us: [but] by thee only will we make mention of
thy name.

o Thou hast increased the nation, {O} LORD, thou
hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst
removed [it] far [unto] all the ends of the earth.

o Like as a woman with child, [that] draweth near
the time of her delivery, is in pain, [and] crieth out in her
pangs; so have we been in thy sight, {O} LORD.

o And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the
LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the
stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, {O} ye
children of Israel.

o {O} LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for
thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the
time of trouble.

o {O} LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest
[between] the cherubims, thou [art] the God, [even] thou alone,
of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and
earth.

o Incline thine ear, {O} LORD, and hear; open thine
eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib,
which hath sent to reproach the living God.

o Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine
eyes, {O} LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib,
which hath sent to reproach the living God.

o Now therefore, {O} LORD our God, save us from his
hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou
[art] the LORD, [even] thou only.

o And said, Remember now, {O} LORD, I beseech thee,
how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart,
and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah
wept sore.

o Like a crane [or] a swallow, so did I chatter: I
did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail [with looking] upward: {O}
LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

o {O} Lord, by these [things men] live, and in all
these [things is] the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me,
and make me to live.

o {O} Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up
into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings,
lift up thy voice with strength; lift [it] up, be not afraid;
say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

o O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up
into the high mountain; {O} Jerusalem, that bringest good
tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift [it] up, be not
afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

o Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, {O} Israel,
My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over
from my God?

o Why sayest thou, {O} Jacob, and speakest, O Israel,
My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over
from my God?

o Keep silence before me, {O} islands; and let the
people renew [their] strength: let them come near; then let them
speak: let us come near together to judgment.

o But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O
Jacob, and he that formed thee, {O} Israel, Fear not: for I have
redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine.

o But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, {O}
Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have
redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine.

o But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but
thou hast been weary of me, {O} Israel.

o But thou hast not called upon me, {O} Jacob; but
thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.

o Yet now hear, {O} Jacob my servant; and Israel,
whom I have chosen:

o Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee
from the womb, [which] will help thee; Fear not, {O} Jacob, my
servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

o Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou [art]
my servant: I have formed thee; thou [art] my servant: {O}
Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

o Remember these, {O} Jacob and Israel; for thou
[art] my servant: I have formed thee; thou [art] my servant: O
Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

o Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done [it]:
shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye
mountains, {O} forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath
redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

o Sing, {O} ye heavens; for the LORD hath done [it]:
shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye
mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath
redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

o Verily thou [art] a God that hidest thyself, {O}
God of Israel, the Saviour.

o Hearken unto me, {O} house of Jacob, and all the
remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne [by me] from the
belly, which are carried from the womb:

o Remember this, and show yourselves men: bring [it]
again to mind, {O} ye transgressors.

o Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter
of Babylon, sit on the ground: [there is] no throne, {O}
daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called
tender and delicate.

o Come down, and sit in the dust, {O} virgin daughter
of Babylon, sit on the ground: [there is] no throne, O daughter
of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and
delicate.

o Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, {O}
daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The
lady of kingdoms.

o Hear ye this, {O} house of Jacob, which are called
by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of
Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of
the God of Israel, [but] not in truth, nor in righteousness.

o Hearken unto me, {O} Jacob and Israel, my called;
I [am] he; I [am] the first, I also [am] the last.

o {O} that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments!
then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the
waves of the sea:

o Listen, {O} isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people,
from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels
of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

o And said unto me, Thou [art] my servant, {O} Israel,
in whom I will be glorified.

o Sing, {O} heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and
break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath
comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

o Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, {O} earth; and
break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath
comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

o Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break
forth into singing, {O} mountains: for the LORD hath comforted
his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

o Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me,
{O} my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make
my judgment to rest for a light of the people.

o Awake, awake, put on strength, {O} arm of the LORD;
awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. [Art]
thou not it that hath cut Rahab, [and] wounded the dragon?

o Awake, awake, stand up, {O} Jerusalem, which hast
drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast
drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, [and] wrung [them]
out.

o Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on
thy beautiful garments, {O} Jerusalem, the holy city: for
henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised
and the unclean.

o Awake, awake; put on thy strength, {O} Zion; put on
thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for
henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised
and the unclean.

o Shake thyself from the dust; arise, [and] sit down,
O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, {O}
captive daughter of Zion.

o Shake thyself from the dust; arise, [and] sit down,
{O} Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O
captive daughter of Zion.

o Sing, {O} barren, thou [that] didst not bear; break
forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou [that] didst not travail
with child: for more [are] the children of the desolate than the
children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

o {O} thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, [and] not
comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and
lay thy foundations with sapphires.

o I have set watchmen upon thy walls, {O} Jerusalem,
[which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make
mention of the LORD, keep not silence.

o Doubtless thou [art] our father, though Abraham be
ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, {O} LORD,
[art] our father, our redeemer; thy name [is] from everlasting.

o {O} LORD, why hast thou made us to err from thy
ways, [and] hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy
servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

o For since the beginning of the world [men] have not
heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, {O}
God, beside thee, [what] he hath prepared for him that waiteth
for him.

o But now, {O} LORD, thou [art] our father; we [are]
the clay, and thou our potter; and we all [are] the work of thy
hand.

o Be not wroth very sore, {O} LORD, neither remember
iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we [are] all
thy people.

o Wilt thou refrain thyself for these [things], {O}
LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

o Hear ye the word of the LORD, {O} house of Jacob,
and all the families of the house of Israel:

o Be astonished, {O} ye heavens, at this, and be
horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.

o But where [are] thy gods that thou hast made thee?
let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble:
for [according to] the number of thy cities are thy gods, {O}
Judah.

o {O} generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I
been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say
my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?

o Turn, {O} backsliding children, saith the LORD; for
I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and
two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

o Surely [as] a wife treacherously departeth from her
husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, {O} house of
Israel, saith the LORD.

o If thou wilt return, {O} Israel, saith the LORD,
return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out
of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

o {O} Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness,
that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts
lodge within thee?

o My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart;
my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because
thou hast heard, {O} my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the
alarm of war.

o {O} LORD, [are] not thine eyes upon the truth? thou
hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast
consumed them, [but] they have refused to receive correction:
they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused
to retu

rn.

o Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, {O}
house of Israel, saith the LORD: it [is] a mighty nation, it
[is] an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not,
neither understandest what they say.

o Hear now this, {O} foolish people, and without
understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears,
and hear not:

o {O} ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to
flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in
Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil
appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.

o Be thou instructed, {O} Jerusalem, lest my soul
depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not
inhabited.

o Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, {O}
congregation, what [is] among them.

o Hear, {O} earth: behold, I will bring evil upon
this people, [even] the fruit of their thoughts, because they
have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

o They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they [are]
cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and
they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee,
{O} daughter of Zion.

o {O} daughter of my people, gird [thee] with
sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, [as
for] an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall
suddenly come upon us.

o Cut off thine hair, [{O} Jerusalem], and cast [it]
away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD
hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

o Yet hear the word of the LORD, {O} ye women, and
let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your
daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.

o Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you,
{O} house of Israel:

o Forasmuch as [there is] none like unto thee, {O}
LORD; thou [art] great, and thy name [is] great in might.

o Who would not fear thee, {O} King of nations? for
to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise [men]
of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, [there is] none like
unto thee.

o Gather up thy wares out of the land, {O}
inhabitant of the fortress.

o {O} LORD, I know that the way of man [is] not in
himself: [it is] not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

o {O} LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in
thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

o That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto
your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey,
as [it is] this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, {O}
LORD.

o For [according to] the number of thy cities were
thy gods, {O} Judah; and [according to] the number of the
streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to [that] shameful
thing, [even] altars to burn incense unto Baal.

o But, {O} LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously,
that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on
them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

o Righteous [art] thou, {O} LORD, when I plead with
thee: yet let me talk with thee of [thy] judgments: Wherefore
doth the way of the wicked prosper? [wherefore] are all they
happy that deal very treacherously?

o But thou, {O} LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me,
and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for
the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

o I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings,
the lewdness of thy whoredom, [and] thine abominations on the
hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, {O} Jerusalem! wilt thou not
be made clean? when [shall it] once [be]?

o {O} LORD, though our iniquities testify against us,
do thou [it] for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many;
we have sinned against thee.

o {O} the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time
of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and
as a wayfaring man [that] turneth aside to tarry for a night?

o Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a
mighty man [that] cannot save? yet thou, {O} LORD, [art] in the
midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not.

o We acknowledge, {O} LORD, our wickedness, [and]
the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.

o Are there [any] among the vanities of the Gentiles
that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? [art] not
thou he, {O} LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for
thou hast made all these [things].

o For who shall have pity upon thee, {O} Jerusalem?
or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou
doest?

o {O} LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me,
and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy
longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.

o Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy
word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am
called by thy name, {O} LORD God of hosts.

o {O} LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my
refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto
thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our
fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and [things] wherein [there
is] no p

rofit.

o {O} my mountain in the field, I will give thy
substance [and] all thy treasures to the spoil, [and] thy high
places for sin, throughout all thy borders.

o {O} LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake
thee shall be ashamed, [and] they that depart from me shall be
written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the
fountain of living waters.

o Heal me, {O} LORD, and I shall be healed; save me,
and I shall be saved: for thou [art] my praise.

o O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this
potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay [is] in the potter's
hand, so [are] ye in mine hand, {O} house of Israel.

o {O} house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this
potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay [is] in the potter's
hand, so [are] ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

o Give heed to me, {O} LORD, and hearken to the
voice of them that contend with me.

o And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, {O} kings of
Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this
place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

o {O} LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived:
thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision
daily, every one mocketh me.

o But, {O} LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous,
[and] seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on
them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

o {O} house of David, thus saith the LORD; Execute
judgment in the morning, and deliver [him that is] spoiled out
of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and
burn that none can quench [it], because of the evil of your doin

gs.

o Behold, I [am] against thee, {O} inhabitant of the
valley, [and] rock of the plain, saith the LORD; which say, Who
shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our
habitations?

o And say, Hear the word of the LORD, {O} king of
Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy
servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:

o {O} inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in
the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee,
the pain as of a woman in travail!

o {O} earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

o Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith
the LORD; neither be dismayed, {O} Israel: for, lo, I will save
thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity;
and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and

none shall make [him] afraid.

o Therefore fear thou not, {O} my servant Jacob,
saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will
save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their
captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be
quiet, and

none shall make [him] afraid.

o Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built,
{O} virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy
tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make
merry.

o For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for
Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye,
praise ye, and say, {O} LORD, save thy people, the remnant of
Israel.

o Hear the word of the LORD, {O} ye nations, and
declare [it] in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered
Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd [doth] his
flock.

o Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set
thine heart toward the highway, [even] the way [which] thou
wentest: turn again, {O} virgin of Israel, turn again to these
thy cities.

o How long wilt thou go about, {O} thou backsliding
daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A
woman shall compass a man.

o Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in
the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity;
The LORD bless thee, {O} habitation of justice, [and] mountain
of ho

liness.

o And thou hast said unto me, {O} Lord GOD, Buy thee
the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given
into the hand of the Chaldeans.

o Yet hear the word of the LORD, {O} Zedekiah king of
Judah; Thus saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the
sword:

o Therefore hear now, I pray thee, {O} my lord the
king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee;
that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the
scribe, lest I die there.

o The LORD hath said concerning you, {O} ye remnant
of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have
admonished you this day.

o Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto thee,
{O} Baruch;

o Go up into Gilead, and take balm, {O} virgin, the
daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; [for]
thou shalt not be cured.

o {O} thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish
thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and
desolate without an inhabitant.

o But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not
dismayed, {O} Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar
off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob
shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make
[him]

afraid.

o But fear not thou, {O} my servant Jacob, and be
not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar
off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob
shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make
[him]

afraid.

o Fear thou not, {O} Jacob my servant, saith the
LORD: for I [am] with thee; for I will make a full end of all
the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a
full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not
leave th

ee wholly unpunished.

o {O} thou sword of the LORD, how long [will it be]
ere thou be quiet? put up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and
be still.

o There shall be] no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon
they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off
from [being] a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, {O} Madmen;
the sword shall pursue thee.

o {O} inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and
espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, [and] say,
What is done?

o {O} ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and
dwell in the rock, and be like the dove [that] maketh her nest
in the sides of the hole's mouth.

o {O} vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the
weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach
[even] to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy
summer fruits and upon thy vintage.

o Fear, and the pit, and the snare, [shall be] upon
thee, {O} inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.

o Woe be unto thee, {O} Moab! the people of Chemosh
perisheth: for thy sons are taken captives, and thy daughters
captives.

o Howl, {O} Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye
daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to
and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity,
[and] his priests and his princes together.

o Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing
valley, {O} backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures,
[saying], Who shall come unto me?

o Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, {O} inhabitants of
Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time
[that] I will visit him.

o Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, [and] the
pride of thine heart, {O} thou that dwellest in the clefts of
the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou
shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee
down from

thence, saith the LORD.

o Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, {O} ye
inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of
Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a
purpose against you.

o Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, {O} ye
destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the
heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;

o I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art also
taken, {O} Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and
also caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD.

o Behold, I [am] against thee, [{O} thou] most proud,
saith the Lord GOD of hosts: for thy day is come, the time
[that] I will visit thee.

o They shall hold the bow and the lance: they [are]
cruel, and will not show mercy: their voice shall roar like the
sea, and they shall ride upon horses, [every one] put in array,
like a man to the battle, against thee, {O} daughter of Babylon

.

o {O} thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant
in treasures, thine end is come, [and] the measure of thy
covetousness.

o Behold, I [am] against thee, {O} destroying
mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest all the earth: and I
will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from
the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

o Then shalt thou say, {O} LORD, thou hast spoken
against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it,
neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

o Her filthiness [is] in her skirts; she remembereth
not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had
no comforter. {O} LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath
magnified [himself].

o All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have
given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see,
{O} LORD, and consider; for I am become vile.

o Behold, {O} LORD; for I [am] in distress: my bowels
are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have
grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home [there
is] as death.

o What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what
thing shall I liken to thee, {O} daughter of Jerusalem? what
shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin
daughter of Zion? for thy breach [is] great like the sea: who
can heal the

e?

o What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what
thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall
I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, {O} virgin daughter of
Zion? for thy breach [is] great like the sea: who can heal the

e?

o Their heart cried unto the Lord, {O} wall of the
daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night:
give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

o Behold, {O} LORD, and consider to whom thou hast
done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, [and] children of a
span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the
sanctuary of the Lord?

o I called upon thy name, {O} LORD, out of the low
dungeon.

o {O} Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul;
thou hast redeemed my life.

o {O} LORD, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my
cause.

o Thou hast heard their reproach, {O} LORD, [and] all
their imaginations against me;

o Render unto them a recompense, {O} LORD, according
to the work of their hands.

o Rejoice and be glad, {O} daughter of Edom, that
dwellest in the land of Uz; the cup also shall pass through unto
thee: thou shalt be drunken, and shalt make thyself naked.

o The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished,
{O} daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into
captivity: he will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he
will discover thy sins.

o The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O
daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity:
he will visit thine iniquity, {O} daughter of Edom; he will
discover thy sins.

o Remember, {O} LORD, what is come upon us: consider,
and behold our reproach.

o Thou, {O} LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from
generation to generation.

o Turn thou us unto thee, {O} LORD, and we shall be
turned; renew our days as of old.

o But thou, {O} son of man, behold, they shall put
bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt
not go out among them:

o The morning is come unto thee, {O} thou that
dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble [is]
near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

o Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen [this], {O}
son of man? turn thee yet again, [and] thou shalt see greater
abominations than these.

o Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen [this], {O}
son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they
commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have
filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me
to a

nger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

o As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my
hearing, {O} wheel.

o Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, {O} son
of man.

o And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said
unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, {O}
house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind,
[every one of] them.

o For I [am] the LORD: I will speak, and the word
that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more
prolonged: for in your days, {O} rebellious house, will I say
the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

o {O} Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the
deserts.

o Say unto them which daub [it] with untempered
[mortar], that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing
shower; and ye, {O} great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy
wind shall rend [it].

o Wherefore, {O} harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

o Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear
now, {O} house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways
unequal?

o Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord
is not equal. {O} house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are
not your ways unequal?

o Therefore I will judge you, {O} house of Israel,
every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and
turn [yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity
shall not be your ruin.

o Cast away from you all your transgressions,
whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new
spirit: for why will ye die, {O} house of Israel?

o For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your
sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all
your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be inquired of by
you, {O} house of Israel? [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I
will not

be inquired of by you.

o As for you, {O} house of Israel, thus saith the
Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter
[also], if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy
name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.

o And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I
have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your
wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, {O} ye house
of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

o Therefore, {O} Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy
mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every
side;

o Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am]
against thee, {O} Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up
against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.

o And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the
entry of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for many
isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; {O} Tyrus, thou hast said, I
[am] of perfect beauty.

o And say unto Tyrus, {O} thou that art situate at
the entry of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for
many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I
[am] of perfect beauty.

o The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy
mariners: thy wise [men], {O} Tyrus, [that] were in thee, were
thy pilots.

o By the multitude of thy merchandise they have
filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:
and I will destroy thee, {O} covering cherub, from the midst of
the

stones of fire.

o And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am]
against thee, {O} Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of
thee: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall
have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

o So thou, {O} son of man, I have set thee a watchman
unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at
my mouth, and warn them from me.

o When I say unto the wicked, {O} wicked [man], thou
shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from
his way, that wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his
blood will I require at thine hand.

o Therefore, {O} thou son of man, speak unto the
house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions
and our sins [be] upon us, and we pine away in them, how should
we then live?

o Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I
have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked
turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways;
for why will ye die, {O} house of Israel?

o Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. {O}
ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

o Therefore, {O} ye shepherds, hear the word of the
LORD;

o And [as for] you, {O} my flock, thus saith the
Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the
rams and the he goats.

o And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold,
{O} mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out mine
hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.

o As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the
house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee:
thou shalt be desolate, {O} mount Seir, and all Idumea, [even]
all of it: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

o But ye, {O} mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot
forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel;
for they are at hand to come.

o Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, {O} house of
Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned
among the heathen, whither ye went.

o Not for your sakes do I [this], saith the Lord GOD,
be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own
ways, {O} house of Israel.

o And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones
live? And I answered, {O} Lord GOD, thou knowest.

o Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones,
and say unto them, {O} ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

o Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind,
prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord
GOD; Come from the four winds, {O} breath, and breathe upon
these slain, that they may live.

o Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith
the Lord GOD; Behold, {O} my people, I will open your graves,
and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into
the land of Israel.

o And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I
have opened your graves, {O} my people, and brought you up out
of your graves,

o And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am]
against thee, {O} Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

o And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel,
as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days,
and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know
me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, {O} Gog, before their

eyes.

o Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog,
and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee,
{O} Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

o And thou shalt say to the rebellious, [even] to the
house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; {O} ye house of Israel,
let it suffice you of all your abominations,

o Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, {O}
princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute
judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people,
saith the Lord GOD.

o Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, {O}
king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will
show the interpretation.

o I thank thee, and praise thee, {O} thou God of my
fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known
unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast [now] made
known unto us the king's matter.

o As for thee, {O} king, thy thoughts came [into thy
mind] upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he
that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to
pass.

o Thou, {O} king, sawest, and behold a great image.
This great image, whose brightness [was] excellent, stood before
thee; and the form thereof [was] terrible.

o Thou, {O} king, [art] a king of kings: for the God
of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and
glory.

o Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded,
{O} people, nations, and languages,

o They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, {O}
king, live for ever.

o Thou, {O} king, hast made a decree, that every man
that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut,
psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, shall fall down
and worship the golden image:

o There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the
affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego; these men, {O} king, have not regarded thee: they
serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast
set up.

o Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, [Is it]
true, {O} Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my
gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

o Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said
to the king, {O} Nebuchadnezzar, we [are] not careful to answer
thee in this matter.

o If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to
deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver
[us] out of thine hand, {O} king.

o But if not, be it known unto thee, {O} king, that
we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which
thou hast set up.

o Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose
up in haste, [and] spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not
we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They
answered and said unto the king, True, {O} king.

o {O} Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I
know that the spirit of the holy gods [is] in thee, and no
secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I
have seen, and the interpretation thereof.

o This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now
thou, {O} Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof,
forasmuch as all the wise [men] of my kingdom are not able to
make known unto me the interpretation: but thou [art] able; for
the spir

it of the holy gods [is] in thee.

o It [is] thou, {O} king, that art grown and become
strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven,
and thy dominion to the end of the earth.

o This [is] the interpretation, {O} king, and this
[is] the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the
king:

o Wherefore, {O} king, let my counsel be acceptable
unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine
iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if it may be a
lengthening of thy tranquillity.

o While the word [was] in the king's mouth, there
fell a voice from heaven, [saying], {O} king Nebuchadnezzar, to
thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

o Now] the queen by reason of the words of the king
and his lords came into the banquet house: [and] the queen spake
and said, {O} king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble
thee, nor let thy countenance be changed:

o {O} thou king, the most high God gave
Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and
honour:

o And thou his son, {O} Belshazzar, hast not humbled
thine heart, though thou knewest all this;

o All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors,
and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have
consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a
firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or
man for th

irty days, save of thee, {O} king, he shall be cast into the den
of lions.

o Now, {O} king, establish the decree, and sign the
writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the
Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

o Then they came near, and spake before the king
concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree,
that every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God or man
within thirty days, save of thee, {O} king, shall be cast into
the den of

lions? The king answered and said, The thing [is] true,
according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth
not.

o Then answered they and said before the king, That
Daniel, which [is] of the children of the captivity of Judah,
regardeth not thee, {O} king, nor the decree that thou hast
signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

o Then these men assembled unto the king, and said
unto the king, Know, {O} king, that the law of the Medes and
Persians [is], That no decree nor statute which the king
establisheth may be changed.

o And when he came to the den, he cried with a
lamentable voice unto Daniel: [and] the king spake and said to
Daniel, {O} Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom
thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

o Then said Daniel unto the king, {O} king, live for
ever.

o My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the
lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before
him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, {O} king,
have I done no hurt.

o So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I
was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me,
Understand, {O} son of man: for at the time of the end [shall
be] the vision.

o And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my
confession, and said, {O} Lord, the great and dreadful God,
keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to
them that keep his commandments;

o {O} Lord, righteousness [belongeth] unto thee, but
unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah,
and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, [that
are] near, and [that are] far off, through all the countries wh

ither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they
have trespassed against thee.

o {O} Lord, to us [belongeth] confusion of face, to
our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have
sinned against thee.

o And now, {O} Lord our God, that hast brought thy
people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and
hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have
done wickedly.

o {O} Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I
beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from
thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and
for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people [are
b

ecome] a reproach to all [that are] about us.

o Now therefore, {O} our God, hear the prayer of thy
servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon
thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.

o {O} my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine
eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called
by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee
for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

o O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; {O} Lord, hearken
and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city
and thy people are called by thy name.

o {O} Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken
and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city
and thy people are called by thy name.

o O Lord, hear; {O} Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken
and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city
and thy people are called by thy name.

o O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and
do; defer not, for thine own sake, {O} my God: for thy city and
thy people are called by thy name.

o And he informed [me], and talked with me, and said,
{O} Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and
understanding.

o And he said unto me, {O} Daniel, a man greatly
beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand
upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken
this word unto me, I stood trembling.

o And, behold, [one] like the similitude of the sons
of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and
said unto him that stood before me, {O} my lord, by the vision
my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

o And said, {O} man greatly beloved, fear not: peace
[be] unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had
spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak;
for thou hast strengthened me.

o But thou, {O} Daniel, shut up the words, and seal
the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and
fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

o And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, {O}
my Lord, what [shall be] the end of these [things]?

o Hear ye this, {O} priests; and hearken, ye house of
Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment [is]
toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net
spread upon Tabor.

o Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of
Israel; and give ye ear, {O} house of the king; for judgment
[is] toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a
net spread upon Tabor.

o I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for
now, {O} Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, [and] Israel is
defiled.

o Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, [and] the trumpet in
Ramah: cry aloud [at] Bethaven, after thee, {O} Benjamin.

o O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? {O} Judah,
what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness [is] as a morning
cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

o {O} Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah,
what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness [is] as a morning
cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

o Also, {O} Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee,
when I returned the captivity of my people.

o Thy calf, {O} Samaria, hath cast [thee] off; mine
anger is kindled against them: how long [will it be] ere they
attain to innocency?

o Rejoice not, {O} Israel, for joy, as [other] people:
for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a
reward upon every cornfloor.

o Give them, {O} LORD: what wilt thou give? give them
a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.

o {O} Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of
Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the
children of iniquity did not overtake them.

o {O} Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me
[is] thine help.

o I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I
will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; {O}
grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from
mine eyes.

o I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I
will redeem them from death: {O} death, I will be thy plagues; O
grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from
mine eyes.

o {O} Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou
hast fallen by thine iniquity.

o Be ye ashamed, {O} ye husbandmen; howl, O ye
vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the
harvest of the field is perished.

o Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, {O} ye
vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the
harvest of the field is perished.

o {O} LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath
devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath
burned all the trees of the field.

o Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep
between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy
people, {O} LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that
the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say
among t

he people, Where [is] their God?

o Fear not, {O} land; be glad and rejoice: for the
LORD will do great things.

o Yea, and what have ye to do with me, {O} Tyre, and
Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a
recompense? and if ye recompense me, swiftly [and] speedily will
I return your recompense upon your own head;

o Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and
gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty
ones to come down, {O} LORD.

o And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of
your young men for Nazarites. [Is it] not even thus, {O} ye
children of Israel? saith the LORD.

o Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you,
{O} children of Israel, against the whole family which I
brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

o And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven,
and proclaim [and] publish the free offerings: for this liketh
you, {O} ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

o Therefore thus will I do unto thee, {O} Israel:
[and] because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God,
O Israel.

o Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: [and]
because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, {O}
Israel.

o Hear ye this word which I take up against you,
[even] a lamentation, {O} house of Israel.

o Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in
the wilderness forty years, {O} house of Israel?

o But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation,
{O} house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they
shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river
of the wilderness.

o And it came to pass, [that] when they had made an
end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, {O} Lord GOD,
forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he [is]
small.

o Then said I, {O} Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by
whom shall Jacob arise? for he [is] small.

o Also Amaziah said unto Amos, {O} thou seer, go,
flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and
prophesy there:

o Hear this, {O} ye that swallow up the needy, even to
make the poor of the land to fail,

o They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy
god, {O} Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even
they shall fall, and never rise up again.

o Are] ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me,
{O} children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up
Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from
Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

o And thy mighty [men], {O} Teman, shall be dismayed,
to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by
slaughter.

o So the shipmaster came to him, and said unto him,
What meanest thou, {O} sleeper? arise, call upon thy God, if so
be that God will think upon us, that we perish not.

o Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We
beseech thee, {O} LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for
this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O
LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

o Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We
beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for
this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou,
{O} LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

o I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the
earth with her bars [was] about me for ever: yet hast thou
brought up my life from corruption, {O} LORD my God.

o And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee,
{O} LORD, [was] not this my saying, when I was yet in my
country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that
thou [art] a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of
great k

indness, and repentest thee of the evil.

o Therefore now, {O} LORD, take, I beseech thee, my
life from me; for [it is] better for me to die than to live.

o Hear, all ye people; hearken, {O} earth, and all
that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you,
the Lord from his holy temple.

o {O} thou inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to
the swift beast: she [is] the beginning of the sin to the
daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in
thee.

o Yet will I bring an heir unto thee, {O} inhabitant
of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

o {O} [thou that art] named the house of Jacob, is the
spirit of the LORD straitened? [are] these his doings? do not my
words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

o I will surely assemble, {O} Jacob, all of thee; I
will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them
together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of
their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of [the
multitude of]

men.

o And I said, Hear, I pray you, {O} heads of Jacob,
and ye princes of the house of Israel; [Is it] not for you to
know judgment?

o And thou, {O} tower of the flock, the strong hold of
the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first
dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

o Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, {O} daughter
of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth
out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou
shalt go [even] to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there
th

e LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

o Arise and thresh, {O} daughter of Zion: for I will
make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou
shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their
gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whol

e earth.

o Now gather thyself in troops, {O} daughter of troops:
he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of
Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

o Hear ye, {O} mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and
ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a
controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.

o {O} my people, what have I done unto thee? and
wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.

o {O} my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab
consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from
Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the
LORD.

o He hath showed thee, {O} man, what [is] good; and
what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to
love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

o Rejoice not against me, {O} mine enemy: when I fall,
I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD [shall be] a
light unto me.

o Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that
bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! {O} Judah, keep
thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no
more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

o Thy shepherds slumber, {O} king of Assyria: thy
nobles shall dwell [in the dust]: thy people is scattered upon
the mountains, and no man gathereth [them].

o {O} LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not
hear! [even] cry out unto thee [of] violence, and thou wilt not
save!

o Art] thou not from everlasting, {O} LORD my God,
mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them
for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for
correction.

o Art] thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine
Holy One? we shall not die. {O} LORD, thou hast ordained them
for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for
correction.

o Art] thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine
Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for
judgment; and, {O} mighty God, thou hast established them for
correction.

o {O} LORD, I have heard thy speech, [and] was afraid:
O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst
of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

o O LORD, I have heard thy speech, [and] was afraid:
{O} LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the
midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

o Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together,
{O} nation not desired;

o Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the
nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD [is] against you;
{O} Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy
thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.

o Sing, {O} daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be
glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

o Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, {O} Israel; be
glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

o Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad
and rejoice with all the heart, {O} daughter of Jerusalem.

o Is it] time for you, {O} ye, to dwell in your ceiled
houses, and this house [lie] waste?

o Yet now be strong, {O} Zerubbabel, saith the LORD;
and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and
be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work:
for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

o Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and
be strong, {O} Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be
strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for
I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

o In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take
thee, {O} Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith
the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee,
saith the LORD of hosts.

o Then said I, {O} my lord, what [are] these? And the
angel that talked with me said unto me, I will show thee what
these [be].

o Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, {O}
LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem
and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had
indignation these threescore and ten years?

o Deliver thyself, {O} Zion, that dwellest [with] the
daughter of Babylon.

o Sing and rejoice, {O} daughter of Zion: for, lo, I
come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

o Be silent, {O} all flesh, before the LORD: for he
is raised up out of his holy habitation.

o And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee,
{O} Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee:
[is] not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

o Hear now, {O} Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy
fellows that sit before thee: for they [are] men wondered at:
for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

o Who [art] thou, {O} great mountain? before
Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth
the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace
unto it.

o And it shall come to pass, [that] as ye were a
curse among the heathen, {O} house of Judah, and house of Israel;
so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, [but]
let your hands be strong.

o Rejoice greatly, {O} daughter of Zion; shout, O
daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he
[is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass,
and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

o Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, {O}
daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he
[is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass,
and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

o When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with
Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, {O}
Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.

o When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with
Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, {O} Zion, against thy sons, O
Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.

o Open thy doors, {O} Lebanon, that the fire may
devour thy cedars.

o Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because
the mighty are spoiled: howl, {O} ye oaks of Bashan; for the
forest of the vintage is come down.

o And I will feed the flock of slaughter, [even] you,
{O} poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I
called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.

o Awake, {O} sword, against my shepherd, and against
the man [that is] my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the
shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine
hand upon the little ones.

o A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his
master: if then I [be] a father, where [is] mine honour? and if
I [be] a master, where [is] my fear? saith the LORD of hosts
unto you, {O} priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein
have

we despised thy name?

o And now, {O} ye priests, this commandment [is] for
you.

o But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees
come to his baptism, he said unto them, {O} generation of vipers,
who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

o Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field,
which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he]
not much more [clothe] you, {O} ye of little faith?

o And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, {O} ye
of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the
sea; and there was a great calm.

o At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee,
{O} Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid
these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them
unto babes.

o {O} generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil,
speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the
mouth speaketh.

o And immediately Jesus stretched forth [his] hand,
and caught him, and said unto him, {O} thou of little faith,
wherefore didst thou doubt?

o And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the
same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, {O}
Lord, [thou] son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with
a devil.

o Then Jesus answered and said unto her, {O} woman,
great [is] thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her
daughter was made whole from that very hour.

o And in the morning, [It will be] foul weather to
day: for the sky is red and lowering. {O} [ye] hypocrites, ye
can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not [discern] the
signs of the times?

o Which] when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, {O}
ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye
have brought no bread?

o Then Jesus answered and said, {O} faithless and
perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long
shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

o Then his lord, after that he had called him, said
unto him, {O} thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt,
because thou desiredst me:

o And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side,
when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have
mercy on us, {O} Lord, [thou] son of David.

o And the multitude rebuked them, because they
should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have
mercy on us, {O} Lord, [thou] son of David.

o {O} Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the
prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often
would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen
gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!

o And he went a little farther, and fell on his face,
and prayed, saying, {O} my Father, if it be possible, let this
cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].

o He went away again the second time, and prayed,
saying, {O} my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me,
except I drink it, thy will be done.

o He answereth him, and saith, {O} faithless
generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I
suffer you? bring him unto me.

o And Jesus answered him, The first of all the
commandments is], Hear, {O} Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

o Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be
baptized of him, {O} generation of vipers, who hath warned you
to flee from the wrath to come?

o When Simon Peter saw it], he fell down at Jesus'
knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, {O} Lord.

o And Jesus answering said, {O} faithless and
perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer
you? Bring thy son hither.

o In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I
thank thee, {O} Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast
hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed
them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy

sight.

o If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day
in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more
will he clothe] you, {O} ye of little faith?

o {O} Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the
prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often
would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth
gather] her brood under her] wings, and ye would not!

o Then he said unto them, {O} fools, and slow of
heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

o And now, {O} Father, glorify thou me with thine own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

o {O} righteous Father, the world hath not known
thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast
sent me.

o The former treatise have I made, {O} Theophilus, of
all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

o Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the
host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets,
{O} ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and
sacrifices by the space of] forty years in the wilderness?

o And said, {O} full of all subtlety and all
mischief, thou] child of the devil, thou] enemy of all
righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of
the Lord?

o And when Paul was now about to open his] mouth,
Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or
wicked lewdness, {O} ye] Jews, reason would that I should bear
with you:

o Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my
lord. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and
specially before thee, {O} king Agrippa, that, after examination
had, I might have somewhat to write.

o At midday, {O} king, I saw in the way a light from
heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me
and them which journeyed with me.

o Whereupon, {O} king Agrippa, I was not disobedient
unto the heavenly vision:

o Therefore thou art inexcusable, {O} man, whosoever
thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou
condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

o And thinkest thou this, {O} man, that judgest them
which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape
the judgment of God?

o {O} wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me
from the body of this death?

o Nay but, {O} man, who art thou that repliest
against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it],
Why hast thou made me thus?

o {O} the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and
knowledge of God! how unsearchable are] his judgments, and his
ways past finding out!

o <1CO7 -16> For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt
save thy] husband? or how knowest thou, {O} man, whether thou
shalt save thy] wife?

o <1CO7 -16> For what knowest thou, {O} wife, whether thou shalt
save thy] husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou
shalt save thy] wife?

o <1CO15 -55> {O} death, where is] thy sting? O grave, where is]
thy victory?

o <1CO15 -55> O death, where is] thy sting? {O} grave, where is]
thy victory?

o <2CO6 -11> {O} ye] Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you,
our heart is enlarged.

o {O} foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that
ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ
hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

o <1TI6 -11> But thou, {O} man of God, flee these things; and
follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience,
meekness.

o <1TI6 -20> {O} Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy
trust, avoiding profane and] vain babblings, and oppositions of
science falsely so called:

o But unto the Son he saith], Thy throne, {O} God, is]
for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is] the sceptre of
thy kingdom.

o Then said I, Lo, I come in the volume of the book
it is written of me,) to do thy will, {O} God.

o Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, {O} God.
He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

o But wilt thou know, {O} vain man, that faith
without works is dead?

o Thou art worthy, {O} Lord, to receive glory and
honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy
pleasure they are and were created.

o And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long,
{O} Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our
blood on them that dwell on the earth?

o Saying, We give thee thanks, {O} Lord God Almighty,
which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken
to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

o Who shall not fear thee, {O} Lord, and glorify thy
name? for thou] only art] holy: for all nations shall come and
worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

o And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art
righteous, {O} Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because
thou hast judged thus.
