overtake And] when they were gone out of the city,
[and]

not [yet] far off, Joseph said unto his steward, Up, follow after

the men; and when thou dost {overtake} them, say unto them,

Wherefore have ye rewarded evil for good?

overtake The enemy said, I will pursue, I will

{overtake}, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied
upon

them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

overtake Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the
slayer,

while his heart is hot, and {overtake} him, because the way is
long,

and slay him; whereas he [was] not worthy of death, inasmuch as
he

hated him not in time past.

overtake And all these blessings shall come on thee,
and

{overtake} thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD

thy God.

overtake But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not

hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all
his

commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that

all these curses shall come upon thee, and {overtake} t

hee:

overtake Moreover all these curses shall come upon
thee,

and shall pursue thee, and {overtake} thee, till thou be
destroyed;

because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God,
to

keep his commandments and his statutes which he co

mmanded thee:

overtake And it came to pass [about the time] of
shutting

of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the

men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall

{overtake} them.

overtake <1SA30 -8> And David inquired at the LORD, saying,
Shall I

pursue after this troop? shall I {overtake} them? And he answered

him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake [them], and without
fail

recover [all].

overtake <1SA30 -8> And David inquired at the LORD, saying,
Shall I

pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered
him,

Pursue: for thou shalt surely {overtake} [them], and without fail

recover [all].

overtake <2SA15 -14> And David said unto all his servants that

[were] with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee; for we
shall

not [else] escape from Absalom: make speed to depart, lest he

{overtake} us suddenly, and bring evil upon us, and smite the c

ity with the edge of the sword.

overtake Therefore is judgment far from us, neither
doth

justice {overtake} us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity;
for

brightness, [but] we walk in darkness.

overtake Then it shall come to pass, [that] the
sword,

which ye feared, shall {overtake} you there in the land of Egypt,

and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after
you

there in Egypt; and there ye shall die.

overtake And she shall follow after her lovers, but she

shall not {overtake} them; and she shall seek them, but shall not

find [them]: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first

husband; for then [was it] better with me than now.

overtake O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of

Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the
children

of iniquity did not {overtake} them.

overtake All the sinners of my people shall die by the

sword, which say, The evil shall not {overtake} nor prevent us.

overtake Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that
the

plowman shall {overtake} the reaper, and the treader of grapes
him

that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and
all

the hills shall melt.

overtake <1TH5 -4> But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that
that

day should {overtake} you as a thief.
