Daily Devotional 1 Year Bible

  • EXO_19:2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come [to] the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

  • EXO_19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

  • EXO_19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and [how] I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

  • EXO_19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth [is] mine:

  • EXO_19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

  • EXO_19:7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

  • EXO_19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

  • EXO_19:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

  • EXO_19:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,

  • EXO_19:11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

  • EXO_19:12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, [that ye] go [not] up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

  • EXO_19:13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether [it be] beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

  • EXO_19:14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

  • EXO_19:15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at [your] wives.

  • EXO_19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that [was] in the camp trembled.

  • EXO_19:17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

  • EXO_19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

  • EXO_19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

  • EXO_19:20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses [up] to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

  • EXO_19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

  • EXO_19:22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

  • EXO_19:23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

  • EXO_19:24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

  • EXO_19:25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.

  • EXO_20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,

  • EXO_20:2 I [am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

  • EXO_20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

  • EXO_20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth:

  • EXO_20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;

  • EXO_20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

  • EXO_20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

  • EXO_20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

  • EXO_20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

  • EXO_20:10 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates:

  • EXO_20:11 For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

  • EXO_20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

  • EXO_20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

  • EXO_20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

  • EXO_20:15 Thou shalt not steal.

  • EXO_20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

  • EXO_20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's.

  • EXO_20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw [it], they removed, and stood afar off.

  • EXO_20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

  • EXO_20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

  • EXO_20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God [was].

  • EXO_20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

  • EXO_20:23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

  • EXO_20:24 An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.

  • EXO_20:25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

  • EXO_20:26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

  • EXO_21:1 Now these [are] the judgments which thou shalt set before them.

  • EXO_21:2 If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.

  • EXO_21:3 If he came in by himself, he shall go out by himself: if he were married, then his wife shall go out with him.

  • EXO_21:4 If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

  • EXO_21:5 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:

  • EXO_21:6 Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for ever.

  • EXO_21:7 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.

  • EXO_21:8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.

  • EXO_21:9 And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.

  • EXO_21:10 If he take him another [wife]; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

  • EXO_21:11 And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.

  • EXO_21:12 He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.

  • EXO_21:13 And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver [him] into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.

  • MAT_21:46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

  • MAT_22:1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,

  • MAT_22:2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

  • MAT_22:3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

  • MAT_22:4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the marriage.

  • MAT_22:5 But they made light of [it], and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

  • MAT_22:6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated [them] spitefully, and slew [them].

  • MAT_22:7 But when the king heard [thereof], he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

  • MAT_22:8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

  • MAT_22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

  • MAT_22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

  • MAT_22:11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

  • MAT_22:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

  • MAT_22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  • MAT_22:14 For many are called, but few [are] chosen.

  • MAT_22:15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in [his] talk.

  • MAT_22:16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any [man]: for thou regardest not the person of men.

  • MAT_22:17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

  • MAT_22:18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, [ye] hypocrites?

  • MAT_22:19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

  • MAT_22:20 And he saith unto them, Whose [is] this image and superscription?

  • MAT_22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

  • MAT_22:22 When they had heard [these words], they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

  • PSA_18:37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

  • PSA_18:38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

  • PSA_18:39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

  • PSA_18:40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

  • PSA_18:41 They cried, but [there was] none to save [them: even] unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

  • PSA_18:42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

  • PSA_18:43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; [and] thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people [whom] I have not known shall serve me.

  • PRO_4:4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

  • PRO_4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget [it] not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

  • MATJ_11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

  • MATJ_11:14 And if ye will receive [it], this is Elias, which was for to come.

  • MATJ_11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

  • MATJ_11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

  • MATJ_11:17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

  • MATJ_11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.

  • MATJ_11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
